FALL FAIR AMBASSADOR

2010 - 2011 Rhian Morris
It has been an honour to represent the Flos Agricultural Society as your 2010-2011 Fall Fair Ambassador. I have had the privilege to work hand in hand with a few community leaders including Linda Murray, Ken Bertram, and Corrie Wimmer. These very dedicated community members have helped me every step of the way to get the most out of my experience as an ambassador.
The most memorable events that I have attended
throughout this year include the Fall Fair as the Ambassador, the Santa Claus
parade and the O.A.A.S. convention in February. During the three day
convention I was involved in training, group sessions and seminars. I was given
the opportunity to meet dozens of other ambassadors from across the province,
the convention was a remarkable experience
and I am thrilled to have been a part of it.
Being your 2010-2011 Ambassador has been an
unforgettable experience, the opportunity has been life changing and I wouldn’t
change it for the world. I would like to send out a thank you to all the
very hard working committee members that make our wonderful Fall Fair possible,
and I hope that our Fair has another successful hundred and fifty years. I would
also like to say thank you so much for the opportunity
of being your Fall Fair Ambassador, my experiences have been unforgettable.

JUNIOR FAIR AMBASSADOR

2010 - 2011 Taylor Nelson
My name is Taylor Nelson and I am the 2010 Junior Ambassador for the Elmvale Fall Fair. I am a Grade 8 student at Huronia Centennial Elementary School. The Junior Ambassador program has allowed me to learn and participate in many new things. The first thing I was able to do was help hand out ribbons at the calf show, cows being my favourite animal made this opportunity very exciting.
Junior Ambassador has also taught me, the do's and don'ts of being polite and how to present myself. When I was being taught this I was told, that was the proper way "Ambassadors should act", but really it is the way everyone should behave. Lastly, being Junior Ambassador has introduced me to new people. Thank you to everyone who sponsored this competition. Junior Ambassador has taught me things I can apply to my life now and in the future.
