Canadian Made and Community Proud
What a remarkable celebration of community, tradition, and all things Canadian Made! The 163rd Elmvale Fall Fair, held October 10-11, 2025, brought together our Springwater Township community for a weekend that perfectly captured the spirit of rural Ontario.
The Flos Agricultural Society and our dedicated team of volunteers extend our warmest gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this milestone event truly extraordinary.
To Our Community
Attendees and Families: Your energy, laughter, and enthusiasm transformed the fairgrounds into a vibrant celebration. Watching multiple generations come together to enjoy everything from our livestock shows to the midway reminded us why this tradition has thrived for 163 years.
Exhibitors: The arena and curling club showcased the incredible talents of our community. From the aroma of fresh-baked goods to the beauty of handpicked flowers, the artistry of handcrafted items, and the pride evident in homegrown produce and preserves, your entries demonstrated the depth of skill and dedication that make our fair exceptional. Special recognition to our 4-H clubs for their outstanding livestock and grain displays.
Sponsors: Your generous financial support enables us to grow this event year after year, preserving traditions while introducing exciting new attractions. We couldn’t maintain the quality and scope of our fair without your partnership.
Vendors: Our food and craft vendors kept everyone well-fed and delighted with local goods, crafts, and agricultural equipment. Your diverse offerings added flavour and variety throughout the weekend.
Service Clubs, Police, Emergency Services, Township of Springwater, and Staff: Your professionalism and commitment to safety allowed families to enjoy the fair with complete peace of mind. Thank you for being there every step of the way.
Suppliers and Business Partners: The behind-the-scenes coordination and support you provided were essential to our success.
Highlights That Made 2025 Special
Our Canadian Made theme was beautifully represented throughout the fairgrounds, from creative parade floats to thoughtful exhibits celebrating homegrown talent and craftsmanship.
Friday’s School Parade brought over 2,000 enthusiastic students marching through Elmvale in spirited costumes. The Elmvale District High School house teams impressed everyone with their creativity, school spirit, and teamwork in float building. Saturday’s Monster Parade was followed by vibrant floats and two energetic bands, with spectators of all ages cheering along the route.
Our livestock shows honoured our agricultural roots: the pony show and sheep show on Friday, followed by Saturday’s heavy horse show in the morning and dairy and beef shows later in the day. The small-animal display offered families wonderful up-close encounters with creatures of all shapes and sizes.
The heartwarming Baby Show reminded us all that the future of our community and this fair is bright and full of promise.
NEW THIS YEAR: We were thrilled to introduce two exciting attractions:
- The Contractor Challenge – Fair board members showcased their skills operating heavy equipment like mini excavators, demonstrating precision and technique in friendly competition
- Free Bumper Cars – Thanks to our Junior Directors who raised funds to bring this attraction to Friday’s fair, giving kids complimentary rides and adding extra excitement to the day
Our entertainment lineup was stellar, featuring hometown star Graham Scott Fleming as our headliner, along with outstanding performances from Gwyneth Covey, the HCES and EDHS choirs and bands, Ron Whitman, the Northern Jewels Cloggers, and the enchanting magician Gary Austin. Each performer brought their unique talent and left the audience thoroughly entertained.
Friday night’s Antique Tractor Pull and Saturday’s Modified Truck and Tractor Pull brought roaring engines, impressive power, and cheering crowds – these events never disappoint!
The midway buzzed with excitement all weekend, providing thrills, games, and treats that created memories for kids and the young at heart.
Looking to the Future
We’re proud to introduce our 2025-2026 Ambassadors: Eliza, Lucy, Max, Peyton, and Lexxy. These outstanding young leaders embody the spirit and bright future of our community.
