2026 Decorating Contest

Rules for each display competition
- All entries must have a sign stating the name of the Fair and the fair dates, October 8, 9, 10, 2026.
- Judging criteria: colourful, unique, and follows the Fair’s theme, Wonders of Ontario.
- Display must be in place by registration deadline, September 28th, 2026.
- Judging will take place following the deadline.

Roadside Bale Display Contest
Roadside display depicting our Fair theme, using agricultural materials. At least one decorated bale must be included. Display base footprint no larger than 200 sq ft.
Location: Must be in a rural area outside the Village of Elmvale limits, but within 15 km of Elmvale.
Prizes: 1st – $150 | 2nd – $100 | 3rd – $50 | $25 for each worthy entry
Residential Display/Decorating Contest
A display depicting our Fair theme. Display base footprint no larger than 80 sq ft.
Location: Within the Village of Elmvale limits.
Prizes: 1st – $100 | 2nd – $75 | 3rd – $50 | $25 for each worthy entry
Business Display Contest
A display depicting our Fair theme. Can be in a storefront window OR an outside display.
Location: Within the Village of Elmvale limits.
Prizes: 1st – $100 | 2nd – $75 | 3rd – $50 | $25 for each worthy entry
