Printed Photography — Sections 1–4

Rules and Regulations

  • Photos must be taken by exhibitor amateur photographers only (one who photographs for pleasure, not money).
  • One entry per section per exhibitor.
  • Entries cannot be digitally modified or enhanced.
  • All entries must be 4″x6″, mounted securely on bristol board or construction paper, with a border not exceeding 1″, for display.
  • Secure exhibitor tags to photos with paper clips.
  • Do not use frames.

Sections

  1. Black & White – Photographer’s Choice
  2. Humorous Photo with a caption (caption on the border, not the exhibitor tag)
  3. Theme – “Wonders of Ontario”
  4. Elmvale Fall Fair 2025 – TWO 4″x6″ photos mounted on one display medium (preferably bristol board), highlighting the 2025 Fair

Rules & Regulations

  • Photo entries must be JPG format only.
  • Entries emailed to medontegirl@gmail.com by Friday, September 30, 2026. Late entries not accepted.
  • One email per exhibitor; include name, contact info & exhibitor number if possible. Photos sent as attachments.
  • Identify the photo section in the file name (e.g. “section 5.jpg” or “#5.jpg”). If sharing an email address for multiple exhibitors, make sure entries are easily identified for each.

  1. Sunrise or Sunset
  2. Tree in Blossom
  3. Sunflower
  4. Farm Harvest Scene
  5. Around the Campfire
  6. Something Purple – photo predominantly purple

Each exhibitor, upon arriving on the grounds, must apply to the Committee in charge, who will inform the exhibitor where the animals or articles are to be placed.

Judging Standards

Our local Committee members do not judge at our Fair. The Society hires and pays for qualified and impartial judges.
